What evidence do we have the inner core is solid? - solid core scooter wheels
What evidence we support the idea that the Earth is solid core and consists of an iron-nickel alloy.
Thanks

Average density of the planet is 5515 kg/m3. Since the average density of surface material, which is about 3000 kg/m3, we must conclude that denser materials exist in the core of the earth. Further evidence of the high density core comes from the study of seismology.
Seismic measurements show that the core of two parts: a solid inner core with a radius of about 1220 km and a liquid outer core that separates over a radius of about 3400 km. The solid core was discovered in 1936 by Inge Lehmann and is believed to consist mainly of iron and nickel.
In the early stages of formation of the Earth around 4.5 billion (4.5 × 109) year, the merger would have caused denser substances to sink the center in a process called differentiation planetary gear (see) and disaster iron, while less dense materials, which have migrated to the cortex. The nucleus is then likely to consist mostly of iron (80%), with nickel and one or more light elements, whereas other dense elements such as lead and uranium, are either too rare to be signedTraffickers, or rather to bind to lighter elements and remains) so in the cortex (see felsic materials. Some have argued that the inner core may be in the form of a single crystal of iron. [2] [3]
The liquid outer core surrounds the inner core and is probably made of iron mixed with nickel and traces of lighter elements.
Recent studies suggest that the innermost part of the core in gold, platinum and other iron-rich-loving (Siderophile) elements [4].
The material from the earth is fundamentally linked to the issue of certain meteorite chondrite, and the problem outside of Sun [5] [6]. There is good reason to believe that the earth, usually as a chondrite meteorite. Since 1940, scientists, including Francis Birch, geophysics on the premise that the Earth is like ordinary chondrites is based, the most common type of meteorite observed effects on the Earth, while totally ignoring another, albeit less abundant type enstatite chondrites. The main difference between the two types of meteoritesEnstatite chondrites may be very limited available oxygen formed, which some elements are in general, it oxyphilic wholly or partly in the alloy, which is the core of the earth.
